You are required to create an account in the application process. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. You may be required to provide information about yourself and payment information as part of the application process or your continued use of Websites and services. You agree that any application information that you submit to Dayforward will be correct, complete, accurate and up to date.
2. Security - Maintaining security to your account is very important. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your email and phone for all activities that are conducted via your Dayforward account. Your Dayforward account and the personal information you provide in and through it could be compromised if your email or phone is compromised. You agree to notify Dayforward immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account, or any unauthorized access to your email or phone, or that the security of your email or phone has otherwise been compromised. To better understand how we maintain the security of your personal information, please refer to our Privacy Policy. Dayforward is not responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of your account or email, or if your email is compromised, or if you lose or share access to your email, phone or other device, or account. Any agreement between you and the issuer of your credit card or bank or financial institution will govern your use of such payment method on the Website with respect to any forms of payment we now accept or may accept in the future.

5. Termination and cancellation of service.

Dayforward reserves the right to deny service, including but not limited to account access on the Website to any person or entity at Dayforward’s sole and absolute discretion. You acknowledge and agree that Dayforward may stop providing the Website or any product or service, or any aspect of any of its products or services, and terminate your account, for any reason or no reason, including, without limitation, for any violation of these Terms of Use; if Dayforward suspects that you have used any aspect of Dayforward’s products or services to conduct any fraudulent or illegal activity; or if Dayforward determines it is required by law to do so. However, any issued Insurance Policy will remain in effect pursuant to the terms and conditions of such Insurance Policy.

Subject to the terms and conditions of any applicable Insurance Policy, you also have the right to cancel your online account at any time. You may cancel your online account by contacting us by email at help@commercialtravelerslife.com or by calling our Customer Experience team at 1-888-434-0228.

If you agreed to receive Communications from us posted to your account, and your account is later terminated or cancelled, you no longer will be able to receive Communications from us posted to your account and you will be sent Communications from us by other delivery means.

6. Insurance policies.

By applying for Insurance Policies through the Website, you are designating Dayforward Insurance Agency Inc. as your agent of record, unless you are purchasing an Insurance Policy from Commercial Travelers Life Insurance Company through an unaffiliated agent.

Insurance Policies available through the Agency are underwritten and issued by a Dayforward affiliated life insurer, Commercial Travelers Life Insurance Company (New York, New York), depending on your state of residence, and are offered in select states through the Website and through affiliated or unaffiliated agents. See the Website for the most current list of states where Dayforward's affiliated life insurers are licensed and approved to issue their Insurance Policies.

By using our Website, you acknowledge your understanding that product and service information and descriptions contained within the Website are not intended to be complete descriptions of all Insurance Policy terms, exclusions and conditions, and that you may find those along with other coverage details in the actual Insurance Policy documents, including any applicable riders, that will be delivered to you if we issue you an Insurance Policy. By using our Website, you also acknowledge your understanding that approval of your application for any Insurance Policy available through the Agency is not guaranteed and is subject to acceptance based upon our underwriting guidelines, your personal information, and our final review of all information after you submit your signed application and authorize us to process your payment.

The Agency also is, and may continue to become, authorized to solicit and sell policies of one or more other insurance companies that are not part of the Dayforward family of companies. Other term life insurance products underwritten by yet other insurance carriers but that are not available through the Agency also may be available in the marketplace.

We do not provide any legal, regulatory, accounting, tax or health care advice, and we encourage you to consult your own advisors before making any financial decision.

7. Access through mobile devices.

Use of the Website may be available through a compatible mobile device and may require cellular network coverage. You agree that you are solely responsible for these requirements, including any applicable changes, updates and fees as well as the terms of your agreement with your mobile device and telecommunications provider. We make no warranties or representations of any kind, express, statutory or implied as to:

(i) the availability of telecommunication services from your or any other telecommunications services provider and access by you or any other user to the Website at any time or from any location;

(ii) any loss, damage, or other security intrusion of the telecommunication services;

(iii) compatibility between our Website and your mobile device; and/or

(iv) any disclosure of information to third parties or failure to transmit any data, communications or settings connected with the Website.

8. Recurring payments.

When you submit your signed application for an Insurance Policy for our final review and approval, you agree at that time to make the initial premium payment using a credit card or other payment method that we accept, currently including electronic payments from your bank account (ACH). ACH terms are contained in a separate form that you will need to sign to enroll in ACH and those terms will govern in the event of any conflict with these Terms of Use. You understand and agree that following your initial premium payment, we will automatically charge your same approved payment method for your recurring premium payments on the date each premium payment is due, unless you provide us with a different payment method that we accept. If you provide a different payment method that we accept, that will constitute your authorization for us to process your recurring premium payments using that new payment method.

You may change your approved payment method by writing to us at help@commercialtravelerslife.com. You also may cancel these recurring payments by canceling your Insurance Policy in writing to us. Requests to change to another approved payment method or to cancel must be made prior to the payment due date to be effective for that payment due. The amount of your premium payment may change as a result of Insurance Policy changes you make. You understand that it is your responsibility to contact us promptly to notify us if your payment information changes or to resolve any payment issues including, if necessary, by providing payment using an alternative approved payment method. You understand that your failure to do so, and your failure to pay any premium amount due for any other reason, may result in the lapse of your Insurance Policy per the policy's terms.

9. Third party services.

Dayforward’s Website includes features that operate in conjunction with certain third-party services such as those provided by Stripe ("Third-Party Services"). Your access and use of Third-Party Services are governed by the terms of service and other agreements posted by the providers of such Third-Party Services. You understand and acknowledge that Dayforward’s Website and services are not endorsed or certified by any of the aforementioned Third-Party Services. With some Third-Party Services, you may upload or enter data from your account (e.g., names, addresses, login credentials, phone numbers, credit cards, etc.) to third parties directly or indirectly through the Website and/or the Internet. You assume the risk that any transactions involving Third-Party Service, whether directly or indirectly, may fail or that your data may be lost, stolen, intercepted, or misappropriated.
